I am looking for online or Distance Learning Tech Writing Courses.
Can anyone recommend any? I am looking for online or distance learning technical
writer courses. I'm not interested in getting a
degree--just three or four accredited courses that
cover the basics of tech writing.
I don't have time to attend regular classes, so I'm
looking for courses that are online/distance learning.
I'm already an English major and editor/writer.
So I'm NOT looking for a basic writing course. I'm
looking for courses specifically addressing technical
writing as a career. My goal is to supple... the University of Phoenix with encourage at UMass Lowell learning program I am in a job where I must move every year or two and need an accredited
University that will allow me to persue a B.S. in Network management or

looking at UoP or UoM.
Apparently University of Phoenix has been doing distance education
longer and has a much more slick and streamlined program that is
likely to go smoothly.
U of Maryland is new to distance education and my have a clunky and
experimental online education pilot program.
Anyone have anything else to add?

I have contacted Microsoft and MOUS and they can only give me names of
organisations in the States.-Our company is running a ctt course in conjunction with corporate learning
which is 2 days train the trainer , in Hull. The course is recognised by
Oracle, Novelll, Lotus and indeed Microsoft . If you pass a test during the

Germany. I did search for schools in germany through SPE ( Society of
Petroleum Engineers ). I came across two (only!) viz TU Clausthal and
TU Freiberg.
TU Calusthal has an Anglo Saxon style undergraduate degree in PE (
Petroleum Engineering ) that lasts for 3 years. TU Freiberg however
has a 5 years Diplom; I guess that is equvalent to a masters elsewhere
in the world.

for YEARS....many YEARS.
Case in point....The gas in the FULL METAL tank in my Honda emergency
genset dates back to Hurricane Hugo in 1989. The tank is steel and
kept filled to the top. The genset will crank on the first pull and
runs fine.
Why??
Because it can't BREATHE.....That's the keyword.

the material, and no insurance company will cover you for solo after
you finish one without significant additional training.
