What Can You Do With A Law Degree

ECept Education > Online Degree

Q. Is there a law school that offers a degree program via the internet?

A. Could have swore I saw on CNN's Burden Of Proof today that Regents had been approved by the A.B.A. to offer the degree via Internet. Could have been that they were asking for approval. I only caught it before they broke for commercial. I'm sorry, I didn't realise you were in the US, It's a bog standard LLB from the University of London, if you wanted to practise in the USA, you would have to sit the US bar exam. ( I think) If you wanted to practise at the bar here, you would have to take the LPC, be accepted at an Inn of Court, do pupillage, and then practise. (Maybe) Much of the learning in law school comes from class participation and discussion with peers; it isn't a matter of "learning facts" which a "correspondence school" implies. You may well do better by doing some reading in your chosen fields -- law as it applies to politics and activism. There are dozens of law journals, practice guides, and publications which would include such articles; you might also ask an attorney who works in the field or a law librarian for ideas.
