Do we need to create Virtual devices in Windows 2000 if we want to work with Windows 2000 1394 drivers like 1394bus

Q. 1. Do we need to create Virtual devices in Windows 2000 if we want to work with Windows 2000 1394 drivers like 1394bus.sys and ohci1394.sys. Please explain if we need them. I think a higher driver like 1394diag that can accept the request from User Application and call 1394bus is all we need. I think virtual devices are needed only in Windows XP. 2. I use windbg command 'ed ohci1394!ohcidebuglevel 5' to elevate ohci debug level for more prints, I still get very few prints. Is the driver has very few prints. What can I do for more prints from driver. I am using checked version of ohci1394.sys

A. With the DDK, it comes a virtual device driver. It provides the same interface as Diag. I do not fully understand how the driver works. But it coexist with other driver stacks.
