Education Q&A

University of the Pacific School of Dentistry

ECept Education > Online Degree

Q. I'm a pre-dental student here in Chicago and would like to know if anyone is or was a student at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry (UOP) in San Francisco, California. I am hoping to find someone who has experienced their dental school career at that school and would like to ask them questions. If there is anyone in this forum that's been to UOP, please contact me via e-mail. I sincerely appreciate it.

A. You might also ask someone to pass along this post to IDF which is Internet Dental Forum. Dentists and other professionals can sign up for it at idf.stat.com. Please contact Dr. David Dodell. You don't have to be cheap. This makes good sense. Dental schools are not about to risk their reputation or the future of their students. I received excellent treatment for next to nothing at the University of the Pacific Dental College in San Francisco - though it was many years ago - and I don't recall a low income requirement - that may have changed. This reminds me... during the same years, I had my hair cut at the local Barber College. Same deal - they wanted to protect their reputation. Haircuts took longer, but I was always satisfied. If the student had any doubt, he just called an instructor to the scene.
