A. -The purpose of this course is to provide a comprehensive review of the field of hazardous waste management. The course will provide you with information on how to identify hazardous waste and how to properly manage on-site, as well as provide you with continuing education in the hazardous waste field WHO SHOULD ENROLL? -Individuals managing hazardous waste at generator facilities, transporters of hazardous waste, and treatment storage and disposal facility personnel. Professionals who work with industry to assist them with hazardous waste management will also find the course useful. -Linda R. Taylor, PE is the Coordinator of Environmental Training and Technical Assistance programs for the Industrial Extension Service (IES) at North Carolina State University (NCSU). Ms. Taylor has over 10 years of civil and environmental experience, having worked as an environmental engineer in the consulting field conducting programs for business and industry. In addition, she has taught numerous seminars throughout the United States on environmental, health, and safety topics. Ms. Taylor received a BS in Civil Engineering from Stanford University and a MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
