i want come out with a trainning plan to become a geophicist, where should I start?

Q. I own a M.S. degree in Computer Science, and a B.S. degree in E.E. Also, I have worked in oil E&P industry for over 5 years. My company want me to come out with a trainning plan to become a geophicist, and my question is where should I start? Can you help me start my search?
A. hat is your company involved in? Exploration or Development? Big diff between the two when training up. I was trained in Geol and am working as Explorationist using more geophysics than anything. Start with enrolling part-time in postgrad studies at uni and pick some units that interest you that can provided background training, check the latest literature and scour some geophysics books. Then concentrate on a few things like Inversion, AVO, enhanced oil recovery, wavelet issues, wave theory, VSP to name a few. Check out industry courses such as OGCI, IHRDC etc
