Creation of web-based learning sites

Q. my project is to set up a web-based learning site for students. This should include: - some technical graphs which should be annimated (like if a student changes some figures, the graph shall move) - other annimations - texts with hyperlinks - progress tracking but they should still be able to navigate on their own - the possibility for a chat forum (or some sort of exchange - no real time required) - all this should be made available to students on the web without having them to download a special program to view it. Now my questions, - does Autorware include all this (and more??) - what kind of other software do I need (Frontpage etc.) to bring the pages onto the internet? - can any program from the MX Suite help me further (e.g. Coldfusion, Fireworks) or is the e-learning Suite enough.

A. - AW does not include anything to do a chat forum. But it can be used to set up an interface to such chat (especially asynchronous). - AW requires the download of the player. As do director (shockwave player) and flash, but those are lighter (flash) and bundled with IE and Navigator when AW is not. To put this on the internet, you'll need frontpage, dreamweaver or any html editor. So the e-learning Suite is enough. NB: you'll need to setup a DB on the web server side in order to have progress tracking (unless you only want progress tracking within ONE session, or you bet your users will have access to one and only one PC each).
