Online Masters degrees in elementary education- help?

Q. My wife is about ready to enroll in a semi-local university to work on getting her Masters degree in Elem. Education. She is wondering if there is any way to achieve this through a web-based university Masters program? Does anyone know of a school that offers online Masters degrees? We know that some colleges offer limited degrees through online classes.

A. I recently was looking for the same information. A good book to invest in is called Peterson's Guide to Distance Learning. It is FULL of schools and their distance learning programs on and off line. I don't know the site, but Peterson's has some information online as well. I know one good program I found was through the University of New England in Maine. They were willing to work with my living overseas. They say you must have a study group, but they were willing to let me talk with any education professionals. Some are EXTREMELY expensive, so please look into that as well. Also, be certain whatever university you decide on is FULLY accredited! Also online is Masters4Teachers.net One thing about this site is they are listed by state, but most aren't SPECIFIC to each state.
