Any information about Oklahoma Driving Test ?

Q. I moved to austin from oklahoma in 86. I took the written portion of the texas drivers test and received BOTH my cage and MC endorsements. naturally it's quite possible this has changed since then. Any information about Oklahoma Driving Test ?

A. I think either you just got lucky, or I got the wrong information as I asked specifically about Oklahoma (out of curiosity) and they told me that since Ok had no MC permit, I would have had to take the test if I were moving from there. This was also the case in Virginia when I moved there from Ok. I did have to take the riding test there. I told them about a previous MC permit in Tx, but they said they had to go by the license I turned in to them, which of course was from Oklahoma... Whatever. I think that sometimes it just depends on who you are talking to.
