Q. Can anybody give me references to some schools offering distance education at Bachelors level for Nurses.

A. Check out Ball State University's offerings. There is an RN Completion program. http://www.bsu.edu/nursing/ http://www.college-without-classes.com has 9 different BSN programs you can choose from, listed in their database. I read with interest the bit on distance learning. I have worked some with it, and found it exciting. Takes a lot of know-how in several areas, faxing, running cameras, trouble-shooting when equipment does not work (this occurred often). But, I want to set up a baccalaureate nursing program in Ethiopia, using distance learning and summer direct contact. Anyone out there experienced or interested? I have formed the Ethiopian Development Project, Inc. to assist in this. Have gone to Ethiopia two summers now, doing teaching of teacers of nursing and CE to hospital and clinic personnel. Going the end of June again, with six others to do more.
