Question-Adult Education, Masters Degree ?

Q. I thought maybe someone could answer a question for me. I was wondering where the best place would be to go to obtain a Masters Degree in Adult Education via distance learning. Also, How much would it cost?

A. The University of Wyoming (http://www.uwyo.edu) has a Master's in the field; there are also some M.Ed. programs available in the field by distance learning, but I can't remember who offers them. Or for good value for money - Australia's second largest DE provider - mainly a graduate school www.une.edu.au Describes Penn State's program. It looked very good to me. Cost would appear to be about 1000 roughly for a three credit class, when various fees are added in. Many people with terminal MAs work at community colleges. And the MSW is no longer a terminal degree there either, since for an academic job at the college level you need a DSW or a PhD in social work. Distance learning is being set up now that the WWW is active. One group doing so on the West coast will be a group of 16 colleges pooling resources. Just wait: education is changing fast.
